Flexible Payload and Signal Generation Technology Framework WO1: Augmented Reconfigurable payload

The objective of this WO is to study an Augmented Reconfigurable payload (AURE-PL), by considering novel architectures for flexibility and configurability.

The AURE-PL is conceived as a small fully (in-orbit) reconfigurable navigation payload. It shall broadcast a subset of Galileo signal components/ channels, which can be reconfigured during the satellite lifetime to cover different programme needs. The technical feasibility assessment of the AURE-PL shall be supported through the development of an prototype demonstrator at Elegant Bread-Board (EBB) level. A development roadmap of the AURE-PL critical technologies and equipment shall be elaborated.
